What do trojans do?

and how do i delete them??

i have a trojan... i heard that they only (if your connected to the internet) let viruses in... is this true? if i'm not connected to the internet is my computer still at risk?? can't they also like, captured passwords and stuff as you type them in...?

i DID have 4 trojans but managed to delete 3 of them... the last one won't let me to delete it. it comes up with an error saying:

'CAN NOT DELETE. ACESS IS DENIED. make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use.'

i'm worried that the file might be currently in use.

i'm also worried because the trojan is called 'winlogon' (in my WINDOWS folder)... i think thats a vital part of my computer and if i delete it it might screw up my whole computer... will i have to get my hard disk formatted?

-it might not be any help but the anti-virus software i'm using is 'eTrust Antivirus'

What do trojans do?house call

it depends on Trajons because there are many types of Trajons and some of are very brutal and some of are less but it still affects your PC.

So you can get rid of that trajon using below free antivirus software.

http://free.grisoft.com/ (it catches viruses in dept and gets rid of easily)
