Lexmark x3470m and computer have a communication problem?

i install an all in one printer and i cant print anything, it says that the printer cant communicate with the computer, in fact, everything seem to be right even the 1 document pending appears. I did everything install and reinstall the software, follow up all the instructions, shutdown firewall, antivirus, etc. plug and unplug usb, power cord, and nothing, check controllers and nothing. what else should i do? I think maybe my usb cable is not compatible but i could connect it, is that possible? please, please help i dont know what else to do.

yes usb needs to be connected unless you're using wireless server, verify that windows wizard did not install drivers, but you did with cd, check usb cable, or try another one for now to test, possibly check settings on printers manual setup by it self, then run maintenance software and check installations and alignment settings,
