Pop up trouble ?trojan?

Hi iam getting repeated popups for the website url.cpvfeed.com and it's downloading smiley central cookies too ...... it all started when i downloaded some software from a torrent site ...... i have run everything from norton antivirus 2007 to spysweeper but they don;t find it ..... just do a search for the url on google and u will get the hijack this log file of many others with similar problem ....



i initially had problem with loss of regedit and run controls and have rectified all that.....



any help will be thankful ;o)

If you still have this pop-up check to see if it was from the program that you down loaded, if so, then go to control panel, click "add or remove programs", next scroll down until you find that program then remove it. When you downloaded a program it may have added something else, so hopefully this will help you.



Try this software when you get the chance. It works well with Norton and it detects even things with a low threat rating (cookies).

same thing for me once I downloaded Torrent. I ended up getting three different trojans and a worm that McAfee couldn't clean out. I had to actually reformat my hard drive!!!! I ended up emailing Torrent after all of this, and they refunded my money, NO PROBLEM...MORAL OF THE STORY: DON'T download anything from Torrent!!!
Anti-virus stuff doesn't detect spyware. Download Spybot for free. It's one of the biggest real deal ones out there. only trust them, other fake anti spyware software actually puts spyware on. www.spybot.com
