The Mac is connected via ethernet cable, and the PC will be wireless. I have security software already installed on the Mac, but I want to run a separate security suite w/ antivirus, anti-spyware and two-way firewall on the PC. Will this cause any problems between the two computers?

Not really, what you are going to have to do on your firewall is allow (permit) the other computer access to that computer. For instance, if you are sharing files. All you have to do on your firewall is give access to that specific IP address that comes off the other computer.

Yeah, all you gotta do is allow the Mac through your firewall.
