Can anyone tell me how to fix the page fault in non page area error?

I have a PIV, 2.8 HT p.c with 256 RAM. Ordinary application run on smoothly. But when i play games, especially ones that require Active X the blue screen appears "stop.....etc with a message "page fault in non page area error". sometimes it asks me to remove the cache etc.., reinstall the software etc.., i tried but failed. the engineer changed the HDD and checked, it failed, changed RAM and checked, it failed; changed the modem and tried, failed.I tried searching for answers over net. all are more confusing.( Antivirus installed).Can anyone help me out with this problem. Set windows to manage virtual memory . ("system managed size")



Start/Control Panel/Performance and Maintenance/System/Advanced tab/Performance, Settings button/Advanced tab/Virtual Memory, Change button/bullet System Managed Size.

Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area may indicate you have some bad memory. You can test your ram with these: = http://www.memtest86.com

It's usually something installed just before the BSOD started appearing. Mine was an nVidia video card that worked in other machines, but not in the one that bluescreened. Some hardware just doesn't play well together?
