System Config.? Trying (still) to get my email attachments!!!?

Norton AntiVirus somehow is blocking me from getting email attachments (Not installed on my comp.?!) I have retrieved them before with no problem; this just started a few days ago. I think I have weeded the problem down to: The Sys.Config.Utility window under the Start menu is showing things running and not. I hid all Microsoft stuff and was left with somethin called McAfee Framework Serv... (which is Norton/Symantec I think?) which is running. If I just uncheck it to disable it I am sure that will have an impact on other stuff. If anyone has ANY advice for me to get this off, PLEASE. Three days of trying to solve this problem and I am just ready to scream. I have got to access these attachments for my jobs! PS-I only have internet and email on my computer, no other software. Please guys, I am counting on y'all. I can even leave my cell # if someone thinks they can talk me thru this S--- better. THANK U

This framework we are talking about is the primary interface for the McAfee system. If you do not want to use McAfee, you can safely disable it for the time being.

If you are really serious for the job, try getting GMAIL! It is a wonderful email system and I am sure you would not have to compromise your McAfee security for getting the attachments.
